Academics

Owensboro Catholic High School provides a wide curriculum of various programs which include college preparatory and honors level programs. The programs offer the possibility of earning one of four diplomas.

• Standard Diploma
• College Prep Diploma
• Honors Diploma
• Commonwealth Diploma

Other specialty areas include computers, band, guidance, business, family and consumer science. The opportunities for Advanced Placement and remedial classes are also provided.

Excellence Program

• Students are eligible to receive discount cards in recognition of academic excellence each quarter.
• Student of the Month luncheon recognizes students at each grade level based on recommendations from teachers, coaches, and extra-curricular sponsors.
• All ‘A’ Honor Roll Lunch allows those students to have a special lunch off campus if they earned all A’s for the quarter.
• Excellence Rally publicly honors students based on various achievements and accomplishments.
